Heaven is for real. It is our hope.
The life on earth is the way to reach heaven. The uniqueness
of this way is that, each one has his/her own way. No one can walk as a next in
the way that one has walked. This way is filled with misery and suffering. At times,
we may feel alone in facing, the problems of life. But, no one fails to face
the miseries. Because it is not we who face the problem but the One who created
us, the One who guides us and the One who would receive us in heaven. That One
is God. These days reading from Exodus also tells the same, “It is not we who
are fighting, but it is Yahweh, who is fighting for us. All that we have to do
is to remain calm.” This is also explicitly seen in the conversion of St. Paul
where Jesus tell him, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.” Yes, when we are
in trouble it is not we who are really into it but it is He who is facing it. He
is tackling the troubles and makes our way clear. Life is a journey. He is
walking in front of us, behind us, besides us and in us. When we believe in
Him, we would have courage to cope up in this postmodern world. The faith in
him implies the hope for heaven. This is the faith our catholic and apostolic
church and ours too. So, the Heaven becomes the real, when we believe in Him that
he is journeying with our life on earth. He is in the heaven waiting to receive
us and He is the heaven.
